In 2009, Mike got a call from his mother. She had a slab leak at her North Phoenix home. Another company came out twice — opened three spots in her kitchen floor, misdiagnosed the leak both times, and left her with a massive invoice and a pipe that was still leaking.
Mike went out that night with his acoustic equipment. Found the leak in under an hour. Fixed it the next morning without touching the kitchen floor — by rerouting the line through the attic. His mother’s kitchen was completely untouched.
Watching his own mother get taken advantage of while scared and overwhelmed made him realize something: there was no Phoenix company fully dedicated to slab leak detection and repair done right. So in 2010, he built one.
